Remember the old barber with a cutthroat razor? The razor was made shaving sharp on a leather strop. Sharpening a knife on a stone or sanding belt leaves micro serrations. A leather strop is ideal for removing these serrations and giving a perfect cutting edge. The strop is treated with paraffin and Dialux™ Verde.
